My jailing is a sham

As a political prisoner of San Francisco's corrupt AIDS industry presently stuck in the county cooler, let me say that the "thumbs down" I received in your paper is a bit off base (The Cooler, The Examiner, Dec. 16).

First, I had no preconceptions that people would rally around me in my effort to expose non-profit fraud and stop anti-gay quarantine plans. But they have, and their strong support is indeed inspirational. It also speaks volumes about the progressive community's defense of others who choose to stand by me, I express my unyielding gratitude.

Second, your paper should have informed the public that the later set of felony counts I received for claimed phone calls stem from the same incident that was overcharged in the first place. It's called "piling on" here at the Hall of Justice, two words whispered slightly louder than "prosecutorial misconduct."

Despite attempts by prosecutor and press to demonize me and silence my criticism of AIDS Inc., I categorically reject the accusations. I look forward to my day in court, when I am confident the truth of my innocence will emerge.
