Michael Petrelis has been an activist since the seventies. In the eighties he was a very active member of ACT-UP New York.

Billions of dollars have been raised for AIDS, but finding out where the money goes is sometimes difficult.
Although Michael has different beliefs about HIV and AIDS than ACT-UP San Francisco, he has worked with them on several projects, including gay rights issues and uncovering AIDS statistics fraud.
